"I don't have to think about it - I just do it " - Jaspal Sahota, digital publicist for Vitis PR.
When my accountant suggested I start using Sage, it felt like I’d been thrown into the 1980s. Previously my expenses took an age. I would have various piles of receipts to be scanned – those to be scanned, those scanned and those that I’d entered into Sage. Three different piles! If I got interrupted, it was a nightmare.
I’m loving using KashFlow. I don’t know where I’d be without it. Using it with Receipt Bank has solved the problem of the workflow. If receipts aren’t in my inbox, they’ve gone to Receipt Bank. I know exactly where it is. If it’s in Receipt Bank, then it’s not in KashFlow yet.
I don’t have to enter the data into a spreadsheet once, and then rekey it into KashFlow. It gets transferred seamlessly. I get a copy of a receipt, take a picture if I want – I can use Dropbox and the iPhone app. The combination of different input methods is really useful – email is quite handy. When I’m not my desk and I receive a PDF. I don’t have to think about it. I just do it.
I’ve easily saved the annual fee. Over the year I expect it to be much more. Double the time they advertise in their email notifications. It’s the fact I don’t have to go back and fix things, which invariably occurred when I was doing the piles of paper, scanning and all the rest of it!
