This past week the Receipt Bank team took on Scaling New Heights for the second year in a row.
SNH never fails to deliver on meaningful and exciting content. This year with a bit of fire in the mix and the backdrop of the Atlantis, the conference empowered small business advisors to develop and sustain The Epic Practice. Joe Woodard explained what it means to be epic by drawing from the deeds (and the failures) of the heroes of ancient Greece to illustrate lessons for accounting professionals.
Damien’s panel with Matt Rissell (TSheets), Rene Lacerte (Bill.com) on “How to Create a High Tech Firm” was standing room only as they discussed points to consider when building a High Tech Firm guided by Denise Bailey’s (Elliott Davis Decosimo) questions.
- The role of an advisor in a high tech firm
- The future of accounting, including mobile usage, no more data entry, and predictive analytics
- How to decide if clients are a part of our future or just our present
It was great opportunity to catch up with familiar faces, long-standing partners, and many of the other members of the cloud ecosystem. We also had the opportunity to introduce many new practices to the world of effortless bookkeeping!
For those attendees looking to learn more about Receipt Bank join us at our Scaling New Heights specific webinars June 2nd and 8rd at 12PM.
Once again we would like to thank the Woodard Group for putting on such an amazing event. We look forward to doing this all over again and “Face the Yeti” in Disney World 2017!
