Last week Receipt Bank hosted our first official regional instalment of the Practice Exchange Lunch, in the atmospheric Rummer Hotel in Bristol. We have been hosting these lunches in London for over 6 months, so we were brimming with anticipation to begin our UK tour!
The day itself was a roaring success, with a little help from our friends - featured partners Sharon Pocock and Bruce Campbell who kicked off the Q&A sessions with some fantastic insights on what it means to run a successful business in the cloud. From marketing, to hiring, to software implementation, no stone was left unturned in the discussion of best practice, and the feedback from the partners who attended has been wonderful.
Receipt Bank began hosting our Practice Exchange Lunches as an experimental exercise in 2014. Our aim was to enable like-minded, forward thinking Accountants and Bookkeepers at different stages of their journey, to exchange ideas and experiences with one another. We wanted to provide a forum for partners to gain value from the connections we have forged over the last four years, since Receipt Bank’s initial inception. We hold these lunches on a monthly basis, and now we even host them across the pond in Australia!
Past attendees of our Practice Exchange Lunches have now begun to forge lasting connections with other Accountants and Bookkeepers who share their passion for building the practice of the future.
