October 2014 Receipt Bank Software Update

Within the month of October we made a couple of small changes to the Receipt Bank product which are now live:

  • Expense report items can be ordered by the date, category, supplier and currency columns. This order will stick upon publishing, downloading and sending the expense report via email
  • There has been an update to our integration with Twinfield that allows you to set the payment period field from within Receipt Bank.

However, the real action is happening behind the scenes where our developers have been keeping busy working on a number of projects that will soon be available to you. To list but a few:

  • We have ongoing work improving the functionality of expense reports. These updates will allow faster editing of items within a report, the automatic creation of expense reports within the inbox and better looking CSVs and PDFs
  • A large amount of work is going into the implementation of a new design for Receipt Bank. The new design will include a better navigation, more accessible account settings, a more modern feel, as well as multiple user experience improvements
  • Our developers are also busy creating a separate app for our behind the scenes administrative pages. Although these won’t be available to you, they will indirectly improve your Receipt Bank experience by lowering page loading times and improving search speeds.
