At Receipt Bank, saving our users time and money is the aim of the game. Share your receipts and invoices with us, however you like. We extract the critical financial data and return it to you swiftly. As part of our service we have integrated with the storage service Dropbox and the accounting software Xero.
Receipt Bank acts as a bridge between these two online locations, a digital super highway between storage and accounting. Dropbox & Xero excel at simplifying your life and offering better ways to organize your space, time & finances. Combining these two solutions with the logistic power of Receipt Bank is the perfect way to take the hassle out of accounting.
Connect Dropbox and Xero
To connect your Dropbox account, login to Receipt Bank, click 'Add Items', select the Dropbox tab and follow the instructions. What happens next is rather nifty; a Receipt Bank folder gets created in your Dropbox folder automatically. Inside is a folder with your username and reference number.
This is so we know who all the receipts belong to, making life easy for accountants and bookkeepers everywhere (remember - time equals money). These folders can be populated from pretty much anywhere - from your smartphone, drag and drop from your desktop, even do it via your web browser.
To connect your Xero account, login to Receipt Bank, click 'Account Settings', under Integrations select 'Change', select the Xero button and follow the instructions.
The pipeline is in place, your vital receipt data will be ready to go in next to no time – you can relax and devote your energies to making your business a success. You can continue to store your files safely in Dropbox, adding invoices and receipts as you please. Every day, the Dropbox folders get swept and every single item is securely transported to Xero. It means you only need to login to Receipt Bank 72 hours later, when the items will have been processed and readied for publishing to Xero or any of our other integration partners.
Dropbox, Xero & Receipt Bank all have free offerings - why not sign up<, connect Dropbox and Xero, and see for yourself how much time and money you can save?
