Half of Accountants are bored at work. Here's how to fix it.

According to AccountingWeb, almost half of accountants feel bored at work. In fact, this work has even caused 54.9% of respondents to look for another job. So what steps can you take to relieve the tedium?

No paper, no problem

The main reasons for feeling dissatisfied were tedious daily tasks (40% and repetitious tasks (24%). If your firm is still collecting paper receipts and invoices from your clients, and entering the data manually, it's not hard to see why.

A quick Google search will tell you a similar story, from these disgruntled accountants on Reddit, to this Xero client, everyone hates data entry. Luckily, it's never been easier to take that work off your hands, and focus on something more interesting.
