On Wednesday evening the highly awaited and prestigious LUCA awards took place. This annual ceremony highlights outstanding performances from students, bookkeepers and softwares that serve their practices.
The gala dinner and awards ceremony, hosted by the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers, was glamorous to say the least - no wonder it is referred to as the Oscars of the bookkeeping world!
We sat amongst the best and brightest in the industry and watched as His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent presented the bronze statues of Luca Pacioli (a Cistercian monk who in 1494 created the process of double entry bookkeeping) to the nights winners.
We were absolutely delighted to win the Add-on of the Year award!
It is a testament to all the hard work put in by the team but more importantly the support and recognition from the bookkeeping community. It definitely puts the icing on the cake for the end of a fantastic year.
