“Why I use Receipt Bank and KashFlow…” – by Louise, a UK Accountant

I’ve been a KashFlow customer for the last few years and really enjoy using a web based system. I can work from any computer - whether I’m in the office, at client premises, or at home!

Adopting KashFlow also impacted the number of clients I can provide services for. I can now take on clients who I previously turned down!

I used to manually collect and enter my clients’ expenses on to KashFlow – but now Receipt Bank does this for me.

My clients simply email their PDF invoices straight to Receipt Bank as soon as they’re received. The data is extracted, coded to the clients’ chart of accounts and sent to KashFlow.

Previously I had to file and store the expenses - now I shred them! I have a PDF copy stored on Receipt Bank and the image is automatically attached in KashFlow too. So I can retrieve the PDFs wherever I am!

I’m really happy having the extra space. In fact we’re actually moving to smaller offices in the New Year!

Being able to quickly and easily pull of the PDF images and corresponding data also meant this year’s VAT inspection was no problem at all – the VAT man was more than happy!

Ultimately, I’m trying to automate as much of possible. So for me the Receipt Bank – KashFlow integration really works! I’ve now got what I want – a process system, which helps me reach my end goal.
