Welcome to May’s product update blog. This post details the changes that have taken place within the receipt bank web app over the previous month

May has brought the following changes which you can now find live on the site:

  • There has been an update to our integration with Twinfield; cost centres and projects can now be assigned to an item from within Receipt Bank and published across.

  • There is now an “Archive item” button on the item detail page, this means you can archive your receipts without having to return to the inbox. This button can be found within the advanced section.

  • We have added a “Publish and next” button to the item detail page next to the normal publish button. This allows you to publish the item you have been working on and move to the next item in the list without being returned to the inbox.

  • To help you process your items quickly we have added a keyboard shortcut for flicking between the items within a list. Simply press Cmd + Left/Right (for Mac) and Window btn + Left/Right (for Windows and Linux) whilst on the item detail page to skip between items.

  • For those integrated with Xero the design of the line item area has been overhauled. You can now add and edit each line item within the same pop up table. You are also asked to select from a dropdown the way the total has been presented on the receipt/invoice. This is in order to improve accuracy for publishing. For example if the totals have been presented as a Net, you would select Net from the dropdown. A default setting for this can be set within your account settings, under integrations.

Check back next month to see the improvements we will have made in June.
